No Hitter

Matt GarzaLast night was a historic night in baseball for the Tampa Bay Rays!  Garza pitched his first No-Hitter and the teams first no-hitter in history.  None of the 27 hitters that walked up to home plate were a match for Garza because he was on his game last night.  A no-hitter is so hard to come by in baseball so this is a big deal for the Tampa Bay Rays.

Normally the Rays are on the other side of a good pitching game, but last night makes up for any of their past defeats.  Garza is such a stand up guy because he admitted that without the help of his team, he would not have been able to pull off such a tall feat.  The performance from the team last night persuaded any doubt in my mind that a Ray’s game is my next stop on the activities list.  So the next time they are in town you should go out and see them play, you never know Garza might pitch another no hitter.  If you want to check out their schedule online.  The field is not too far from The Yacht Club apartments!
